Silkworks was founded by the late Prakash A. Thadani (PAT) in 1989 as a home furnishings store creating all kinds of exquisite cushions, bed linen, therapeutic pillows and kids stuffed toys. Over the years the company transformed into selling all kids of home decorative accessories, antiques, and collectables. The company is now run and managed by PAT’s eldest son, Tarun who rebranded the company to Chorbaz in 2022 however maintaining the Silkworks brand of furnishings which has been cherished by Mumbaikars for over 3 decades.
